I recently finished my last "summer" wedding for the 2011 season with perfect weather.  It was partially cloudy with perfect wind. The Tahoe sun warmed us while the partial clouds kept a nice temp for the guests to enjoy their libations while taking in the view at Garwoods beach & pier.  As guests "owed and awed" at the site and the sun, I couldn't help but do the same.  It was a great summer wedding season with a full spectrum of weather- early snowy June to "sunshiney" July & August and finishing with windy Sept & Oct.  This summer wedding season had it all and kept us on our "weathery toes."

Now we move on to Fall/Winter, where the wedding season slows done but is not over by any means.  I had a such a great high season that I'm hanging on to it by writing my first blog...

Through my blog, expect to find trends & traditions, stories, inspiration ideas, etiquette, DIY projects, referrals, simple fun and much more.  To kick it off here's my latest idea.  If you're planning a winter wedding take advantage of the season- try some fun, funky tights to go under you're gown, perhaps your accessory color or your favorite color- who cares if it doesn't match- if it matches you're personality than it's right! Also, If you've got a trash the dress appt. with your photographer, bustle you're gown and hit the slopes with your honey.  Fun active pictures make you're Tahoe day, more Tahoe!!

About me- I'm excited that Fall has arrived! It's my favorite season for so many different reasons- the layered look, scarves with dangly earrings, crockpot meals & stews, yum, windy days with leaves and pine needles blowing in the air.
